- We all enjoyed our experience at the Minnesota Twins baseball game in the evening, kettle corn and all!
- On our way back from the game to Crown College, we saw some impressive lightning light up the sky on the way back.
- Favourite Quote from Jennifer: “Oh, you children are always so cold!”
July 11
- Elimination Quizzing—we fought the good fight and had some excellent quizzes during the elimination round nearly qualifying for finals.
- We ended the meet satisfied with our performance. We praised God to place fourth at the end of the championship round!
- After we were done quizzing, we went out as a team for ice cream. After ruling out a lake as an eating spot as we would have been charged an entrance fee, we selected a quiet graveyard in which to enjoy our ice cream.
- Once we finished our ice cream, a car wash party ensued as we scrubbed, scraped and power washed the decorations off the windows of the Silver Bullet. Fortunately we were able to remove all traces of our creativity.
- We were excited to see our friends from Pacific Northwest place first in Consolation B, and our CMD2 comrades win the Consolation A finals.
- Individually, Adrienna placed 17th and Denae placed 3rd overall.
- Some of us participated in the all-nighter party until around 2:00 a.m.—Jennifer contributed greatly to the fun times by her enthusiastic participation in The Name Game.
July 12
- We cleared the border into Canada with ease today!
- Kyle’s Kwotes: “I have a one-track mind with multiple lanes.”
- An intense game of Settlers of Catan took place in our hotel room, resulting in Denae winning her first game ever!
